A: Laurent Construction is a family owned and operated company.
Misha Laurent, possessing an extensive background with a successful engineering firm, is the Operations Manager for Laurent Construction.
Nathan Laurent's background encompasses various positions and experience in the construction industry including, but not limited to, Superintendent for new home construction from the ground up and has been involved in various facets of construction and remodeling throughout his life.
2. Is Laurent Construction licensed and insured?
A: Yes, Laurent Construction is licensed and insured encompassing both Workman's Compensation and General Liability Insurance.
3. Does Laurent Construction provide a warranty on their work?
A: Yes, Laurent Construction provides our customers with a 1-year warranty on all material and craftsmanship.
4. How do I check references for Laurent Construction?
A: Several methods are available.
Laurent Construction will gladly provide contact information for past customers in which we will try to connect you with prior clients who had projects as similar to yours as possible.

5. Who will come meet with me to discuss the work I would like done?
A: Either Nathan or Misha Laurent, the owners, will personally meet with all clients to discuss the project and scope of work.
6. Who will actually be performing the work?
A: A supervisor from Laurent Construction (typically Nathan) will personally manage each and every project. We do not sign a contract with a homeowner and then subcontract the job to some unknown third party. On occasion, Laurent Construction will bring in expert tradesman to perform specific tasks of larger projects, such as electricians, plumbers, heating and air specialists, etc, to ensure the work is completed by licensed professionals. In all cases, these are well-established companies possessing a proven track record with our organization and we warranty their work as it is our own. You will not be required to contact the third party for any warranty item.
7. What if I decide I want to make changes to our plans after work has begun?
A: As always, it is preferred to have plans agreed upon before the start of the project. However, we recognize that occasionally design ideas can take time to fully develop and may require "tweaking" as the project begins to take shape. We are focused on providing excellent service and, as a result, will do everything we can to accommodate change requests. In the event a "change order" is required, Laurent Construction and the customer will document the change in an addendum to the contract, specifically outlining the details of the change and the costs associated with the changes, and both Laurent Construction and the Customer will sign the addendum.

Laurent construction had recently expanded our deck for us. Nathan Laurent's professionalism, knowledge, and workmanship has exceeded our expectation and more. We are still amazed at how Nathan and his crew attended to every little detail of the project, always taking time to make sure our deck look beautiful, and yet functional at the same time, and he still managed to finish the job on time.
When we were admiring our new deck, after its completion, the only thing we could say to him was "excellent, excellent and excellent" We highly recommend him to anyone who needs any work done to his/her house.
In fact, we will definitely have Nathan and his crew return for other renovation projects for our house because we can trust him to do a awesome job.
